Happy Birthday Navin Ramgoolam

Our Prime Minister really sets the example and the tone: for his 63rd birthday anniversary on the 14 th July he sacrifices this special day to go and reap international recognition from a foreign university ( More than a Mandela or Obama) and that too he thinks of his country and he accepts it in the name of Mauritius. And openly dedicates his success to you and me.

Such people are rarities poised, calm and wise. Believe me such a breed of politicians is really rare.

For we live in a , very beautiful indeed but we are spoiling and tarnishing it by our misdeeds. Through we are no doubt living rough times. Insecurity seems to be a hallmark on the Mauritian soil. The in our society – stress, insecurity- name it, you’ll get it- is more than visible. We have an urgent need of as well as counselors who are unbiased and add no communal coloring to their task.

Also we ask that they be given protection in their hazardous day to day work. This should apply to all sectors where above all a should prevail.

We say it loud and clear that a change of heart on our part will do us all a lot of good enough of favoritism and nepotism. The modern Mauritius cannot see mere blind and docile followers. We need thinking people. Not who are self proclaiming themselves for any . speeches tinged with egoism . let us stop it by being more loving and caring. For by focusing on our advantages we are losing all sense of proportion and values. Even our history will be more objective if we get rid of and tat touch of hero worships own way.

This is the tragedy of us all.

We vote on communal and reap different results.

Meanwhile the country is sinking . Imagine , fresh ideas in the political arena no dynasty, no Navin, no Paul.

Our system of education is to be blamed. Vasant Bunwaree should by now realize that apart from being a great achiever he should realize that academic results are going down tuition or no tuition …

Vijay with pinch of salt
